Because we gather certain types of information about our users, we feel you should fully understand our policy and the terms and conditions surrounding the capture and use of that information. This privacy statement discloses what information we gather and how we use it.

The Christadelphian eJournal of Biblical Interpretation gathers two types of information about users:

  • Information that users provide through optional, voluntary submissions. These are voluntary submissions to receive our electronic notice and access back issues.
  • Webstatistics gathers information through aggregated tracking information derived mainly by tallying page views throughout our sites. This information allows us to better tailor our content to readers' needs and to help understand the demographics of our audience. Webstatistics tracks user traffic patterns throughout all of our sites. However, we do not correlate this information with data about individual users. The eJournal does break down overall usage statistics according to a user's domain name, browser type, and MIME type by reading this information from the browser string (information contained in every user's browser).Our service is free to Christadelphian users. Under no circumstances does the Christadelphian eJournal of Biblical Interpretation divulge any information about an individual user to a third party.

1. Electronic notice policy (Dispatches)

We will offer a free electronic notice to Christadelphian users. The Christadelphian eJournal of Biblical Interpretation gathers the email addresses of users who voluntarily subscribe. Users may remove themselves from this mailing list by following the link provided in every electronic notice that allows the user to mail to the unsubscribe address. The user will be permanently removed from the subscribers list as soon as possible. Our security and privacy policies are periodically reviewed and enhanced as necessary and only authorized individuals have access to the information provided.

2. Access to archived back issues policy

We will offer Christadelphian subscribers a username and password in order to access the archived back issues. The password will be changed periodically and subscribers will be notified via the electronic notice.

3. Removal from distribution list policy

The Christadelphian eJournal of Biblical interpretation reserves the right to remove subscribers from the distribution list if they are engaged in any form of internet abuse.

4. Privacy Policy Template changes

By using this site, you consent to the collection and use of this information by the Christadelphian eJournal of Biblical Interpretation. If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on this page so that you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances we disclose it. The eJournal operates secure data networks protected by industry standard firewall and password protection systems, to our knowledge all attachments and communications are virus free and third parties are unable to hack into private information. The Christadelphian eJournal of Biblical Interpretation cannot be held liable for any damage to your system caused by accessing our site or recieving communications from the eJournal. Application for addition to the distribution list is understood as agreement and acceptance of the terms and conditions.
